A permanent museum exhibition entitled FeNOMEN about the history of the iron industry in Slovenia is being prepared, which takes us from ore to steel. Key events in the history of the iron industry are presented, especially the period from the 14th to the end of the 19th century – the period of the development of smelting to industrialization. The exhibition will also present the living conditions of welding families, such as Bucelleni and Ruard on the Sava in Jesenice, which significantly influenced the development of welding from the 16th to the 19th century.
