Transmission machinery was used in the Jesenice Ironworks. The driving power was transmitted from electric motors to the machines along shafts and pulleys. Pulley speed was adjusted with the variator. Electrical workshop took care of smooth operation of propulsion machinery. Most transmission machinery or variators were in the nailery. One of them was renovated in 2020 within Naša industrijska dediščina naš ponos (Our industrial heritage – our pride) Project.
